Types of Proposals
The CIRS Program issues a Call for Pre-proposals once each year. Information regarding thematic content for annual competitions is posted on the CIRS website and is disseminated by the Vice Chancellor for Research to Deans, Department Heads, and Faculty via e-mail.
The program funds two types of proposals. Salient features for each type of proposal are outlined below:

- travel to national professional meetings outside the awardee’s current field
- students or staff to support program development
- Major equipment purchases (> $10,000) are not supported.
Full Proposals
