Overview
A federally mandated committee responsible for reviewing all human subjects research conducted at or sponsored by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, to ensure that it complies with federal regulations and campus policies for the protection of human subjects. At Illinois, there are two Institutional Review Boards (one for Social and Behavioral Research, and one for Biomedical Research). Effective 10/15/2024
