iBioFAB accelerates the biological engineering process by integrating artificial intelligence/machine learning with automation

Researchers at IGB are using the Illinois Biological Foundry for Advanced Biomanufacturing to discover and characterize new natural products, a popular source of antibiotics, at unprecedented speed. This project features a collaboration between the labs of Doug Mitchell, Huimin Zhao, and Wilfred van der Donk.
