Department of Mathematics Collaborates with Spurlock Museum to Preserve Iconic Math Models

More than 360 math models will be catalogued, stored, and prepared for display when Altgeld Hall renovations are complete. The models, some more than a century old, were "a way to help students understand geometry and algebra by literally grasping the concepts in their hands."
