A U. of I. student research team was selected by Sandia National Labs staff and management in recognition for exceptional project management and execution showcased during the Sandia Senior Design 2021-2022 Additively Manufactured System for Space Application challenge.

Selected Projects

Algorithm and Software Group Collaboration Project

Recently, the Applied Research Institute partnered with Sandia National Laboratories on a Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD) project focused on training, testing, and preparing an object detection algorithm for inclusion in their SeaScape framework which allows head-to-head comparisons between similar algorithms using the same dataset and API.
